In the month of May, 1983, Reverend Simon Kwabla Kwashie had an encounter with the Lord. At an early age of sixteen an unusual passion was stirred in him to see the lost come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. This joy of seeing people saved got hold of him strongly, and he started propagating God’s word in Tema (a town in the capital city of Ghana). He preached in schools, on buses, and indeed everywhere else the opportunity was afforded to him. Simon's calling and greater desire has always been to see souls get born again into the Kingdom of God and established in Christ.

It was this desire and the encouragement of Bishop Richard Ahiagbedey, the General Overseer of Adonai International Ministries (Head office in Tema) that propelled Simon Kwashie to get enrolled into the ALL NATION BIBLE TRAINING CENTRE in 1991 to acquire formal training and help give his God given desire and calling a certain focus of direction. He graduated from the institute in May 1993 and later that same year was ordained into Ministry at the Adonai International Ministries in Tema. He proceeded to serve in various capacities in Adonai International Ministries as an Evangelist and later pastored the Takoradi branch. He later moved to Tema to become the resident pastor of the Head office branch. In 2007 to 2011 he did some ministerial work in Cape Coast; in the later part of those years he served as an associate pastor of Fountain Gate Chapel, Cape Coast.
